On 23-26th April I was at Conflux, the Australian National Science Fiction Convention for 2004, in Canberra. I had a teriffic time and made many new friends. I was also stunned to receive two Ditmar awards, one for Best Novel and one for Best New Talent. Thanks to everyone who ordered the book from overseas and thought it was worthy! And special thanks to the organizers of the con, who did a marvellous job, and everyone else who made me feel welcome.

The Australian release of The Etched City has been spotted in the wild, and should be available at bookstores across the country.

A reprint of Richard A. Lupoff’s 1977 novel Sword of the Demon is out now from Cosmos Books. The artwork I did for this edition can be seen in the Art section of this site.
