Etched City crack doujinshi - 01.04
Saturday, March 3rd, 2007 at 6:42 amOkay, here’s p.4, somewhat inspired by Ingres’ The Turkish Bath, or perhaps, rather, Paul Claudel’s description of it as “a canvas…in which one sees a mass of women stuck to one another like a cake of maggots”, and probably also inspired by the Playboy magazines my parents, who were sort of square yet unconventional at the same time, kept in the same cupboard as my toys when I was small, and which were some of my favourite reading material.
N.B. If you want to see bacchanals done by a master, as opposed to me with a biro, as well as nudes of a fantastic nature, check out the Norman Lindsay Gallery and Museum. Not much gay there, if any, however.
I’m rushing to finish something this weekend, then I’m taking a week off writing, more or less, so I might have 2 or 3 more pages done next week.

Random naked trapeze artists in the bg. ♥
It is only proper that any lesbian orgy involving Beth - or any orgy involving Beth period, really - would naturally evolve around her as the central goddess/nucleus of all activity.
(waiting for Scott to blow a gasket)

it’s rare that you see an orgy with a trapeze. That is awesome beyond words.

*Head Explode*
Indeed, beyond words that any moral dare speak. Perhaps Odin can something meaningful on this occasion, but I’m fairly certain it’d be the last words he would speak.
*Explode again*

Laurie - as Goethe put it:
“When in the garden thou walk’st,
Thou then art the rose of all roses,
Lily of lilies as well.
When thou dost move in the dance,
Then each constellation moves also;
With thee and round thee they move.”
He didn’t say anything about orgies, but perhaps he thought about them.
Dave - they’re there at the special request of Hedonists for the Inclusion of Trapezes in Orgies, a cause I try to support whenever I can.
Scott - there’s no money in this gig, and little glory, but when heads explode it’s all worthwhile.
Jenna - I wish I had your hair! Since this is a satire, there should be satyrs in it… (ducks). The lady with the big eyes was the first one to turn up on the page. Then all the others had their eyes shut - weird.

It’s strawberry flavoured.

Why, I’m sure he did think of orgies, that dirty old goat.

Also, oddly, my comments seem to not be showing up. I think the monkeys are back.
March 5th, 2007 at 12:21 pm
Actually, there was an orgy in Faust, wasn’t there? Or there should have been. The monkeys are indeed back - I’m putting poison bananas out for them now.

The baroquismo edging and lettering also highly elegant. I’m impressed by the effortless strength of the two ladies supporting B.’s weight (oh shut up); am curious noticing G. is the only figure drawn in the manganese style. But then what I know from magnesium?
March 8th, 2007 at 5:07 am
The candyfloss wadding helps to shore everything up. I don’t think Gwynn looks manganese so much as Piglet-ish - as Piglet looked in “When We Were Very Hung”.

Didn’t Eeyore go to Mexico in that one?
… and the phrase “Pooh sticks” was finally published in its entirety?
March 9th, 2007 at 4:23 am
That’s the one.
