Takato Yamamoto

Sunday, April 29th, 2007 at 6:07 am

One book I am leaving here is Takato Yamamoto’s Alter(sic?) of Narcissus, a slim, handsomely presented hardback I bought in Tokyo. Yamamoto’s work is delicate, erotic, often kinky and sometimes gruesome. Happily for little ol’ perverted me, some of it is online:

    that just screams yuki kaori

i’ve seen his work before, and i love it. i wish i could have gotten a book, but they’re expensive/hard to find.

Reminds me more of Kouyuu Shuurei than Kaori Yuki.

  4. Jenna Says:

oh, i just found em on amazon, but they list him as takata. idiots.

  5. Jenna Says:

    saiunkoku whore :P

  6. Laurie Says:

…Kouyuu and Shuurei are two characters from Saiunkoku, but Kouyuu Shuurei is an artist who has nothing to do with Saiunkoku, babe. :P Kouyuu Shuurei wrote Alichino, which has a kind of aimless story but some of the most gorgeous art I have ever seen in any comic.

  7. Jenna Says:

oh alichino is awesome but i have never read it just seen the artwork
