Takato Yamamoto
Sunday, April 29th, 2007 at 6:07 amOne book I am leaving here is Takato Yamamoto’s Alter(sic?) of Narcissus, a slim, handsomely presented hardback I bought in Tokyo. Yamamoto’s work is delicate, erotic, often kinky and sometimes gruesome. Happily for little ol’ perverted me, some of it is online:

Reminds me more of Kouyuu Shuurei than Kaori Yuki.

…Kouyuu and Shuurei are two characters from Saiunkoku, but Kouyuu Shuurei is an artist who has nothing to do with Saiunkoku, babe.
Kouyuu Shuurei wrote Alichino, which has a kind of aimless story but some of the most gorgeous art I have ever seen in any comic.
