Tuesday, June 5th, 2007 at 7:45 pmI’ve been watching Samurai Champloo the last few days and had the urge to draw Jin and Mugen. Jin is my type (gentlemanly + lethal + long black hair + glasses = what’s not to like?) but Mugen is undeniably cool and his face is fun to draw. The photoshop job I did on his picture here is admittedly a bit horrid. I need to learn how to sketch and paint in deeper tones to begin with rather than relying on the dark strokes filter.

I loved Samurai Champloo. I sometimes wonder if I’m the only one who thought the three main characters ought to just be a big happy threesome.

Judging by some of the fanfics out there, you’re not the only one to think that
I have to say, I like the idea too. But then, I always want characters to get together. Maybe I’ll draw them all at Woodstock.

jin is beautiful on the lastest episodes with his long hair and without glasses^^ but mugen is charismatic!fuu is adorable
but i was deceit by the end….noooo it can’t ended like that T_T congratulations for your fanarts ^^

Actually, I like Jin best with his ponytail and glasses. There’s something sexy about a swordfightin’ man of scholarly appearance. The ending was a little melancholy. Maybe there’ll be a sequel one day. And thank you!
