Poem in Electric Velocipede

I have two very important questions.
Who is John Galt?
and what is a Velocipede?

I believe those inquiries would be better directed to Google. Actually, this is odd, but I only read about John Galt the other day. Coincidences are cool but I’m not sure I like them when they involve Ayn Rand.

Laurie - I’m glad! I tried to write a book about an adventurous old lady, but it didn’t work. She found her way into this poem, though.
