Even if you wrote something which, after due gestation, you thought perfect, then reading it in a month's time you would find things you would want to change because you will have changed. Best to just change what the editor picks up, otherwise you will end up with a different story and a load of new things the editor wants fixed up! I hope you have a bottle of eucalyptus oil (produced in China no doubt!) to help with the sinuses.
