it reminds me of sam keith’s “the maxx” he was a hero who had a bunny for a face under his mask

I know the Maxx… but was his face definitely a rabbit? I only saw the TV cartoon.

This is better than the original, but thanks — I put some effort into drawing it. And the advantage of part-animal characters is that you can always give them paws instead of those pesky hands…

To Kirsten…It’s really good and interesting, the figure is anatomically excellent. The space seems cramped, which gives the picture a touch of peculiarity and the falling mask makes it dynamic. The composition is balanced. The hand placed in the lap endows the image with an erotic charge, while the animal body parts make the drawing kind of disturbing. Sometimes I also like combining human figures with animal body parts in my drawings. I gave my friend a picture- a female nude with a horse head- as a wedding gift. It’s interesting that his one year old son took a fancy to it. He was actually enchanted by that.

Thanks for the detailed review, Dominik! (I’m also very much open to criticism.) The reference photo was of a guy in a cramped space with his hand just like that.
Somehow I’m not surprised that your friend’s son was enchanted by the horse-headed woman. Something magic happens when you put animal parts on a human figure, I think. And it isn’t as simple as the idea of giving a human the iconic characteristics of an animal. It’s mysterious, and when I try to explain it to myself, I can’t.
