Rough Customer — plan A
I tried giving him a leg to stand on. He looks a bit better than in these photos, but looks like a different character. I’d rather save the one leg pose for another piece and put him back with his chest on the stone. I’ll add material to make the stone taller and go from there.

Continuing on from the Silent One and the Noisy One, a new crow. Need to work out what to do with his back half and support.

New piece – The Sleep of Monsters
“The Sleep of Monsters” (nickname Minoball). Bronze, edition of 15. I’ve cast 3 so far, in different colours; just waiting for bases. They’ll stand upright where the screw is. I’m pleased with how they turned out. I don’t have an exact measurement yet but he was formed around a 10 cm ball and fits in my hand. There’s this one (the actual colour’s darker as I recall), a dark brown one, and one in ochre — he looked like a bread roll when he was being patinaed.
I like the round shape. Might do more similar if the ideas I have on paper work in 3D.

Got the wax back from the foundry. Some finishing work to do, then off for bronze casting.
